iPhone: 10 years of revolution!
For many, the reception of the first iPhone in 2007 was rather lukewarm. Removing the keyboard was a step forward, which was adopted by everyone, but then it was rather a shock for many. After all, the main competitors and market leaders rushed to devalue Apple's proposal by discounting its commercial failure.
iPhone (2007)
"Apple will reinvent the cell phone," Steve Jobs said at that time and was fair, even though this first device did not have third-party applications such as GPS and video capture. However, replacing the keyboard with the touch screen and adding advanced features like those of computers, iPhone has set standards for all other smartphones.
iPhone 3G (2008)
This new iPhone enabled the use of a 3G network, the highest data transmission speed, while another application added was GPS. The new additions have been warmly welcomed by the world, and it has begun to grasp the long-term capabilities of the iPhone. In addition, App Store and apps for the new phone also contributed greatly, which proved to be extremely important in the history of smartphones.
iPhone 3GS (2009)
And that's how, in 2009, Apple's delivery began adding an "S" at the end of each device's name, for every little upgrade. The 2009 model provided video capture for the first time, and the camera itself was upgraded. The letter "S" symbolized speed - from the English speed - and reflected the improvements of the interior components. Finally, another feature added was the ability to voice control - which two years later gave us the ... Siri.
iPhone 4 (2010)
If the iPhone 3GS was a small step forward, the iPhone 4 was a big one, having a new, glossier and more modern look, as well as a remarkably improved screen resolution while still maintaining the same screen size. This was also the first Retina screen. It was also the first iPhone with a front camera, the first iPhone to partially use the ability to carry out multiple tasks at the same time, and ultimately, one of the most important iPhone ever created by Apple.
iPhone 4S (2011)
Apple decided to use S again for the upgraded version of the iPhone 4, released on the market in 2011. The camera was upgraded to a resolution of 8 Megapixels, and perhaps the biggest improvement in software was the arrival of Siri, the digital assistant "Which is, even today, one of the main features of the iPhone.
iPhone 5 (2012)
The iPhone 5 was released with major upgrades as an additional set of icons was added to a fairly high screen and launched the Lightning Cable. Finally, it had a lighter, aluminium case. In terms of iOS system software, users first met a faulty version of Apple Maps.
iPhone 5C (2013)
In 2013, Apple decided to move into the market, not one but two new iPhone devices, every September. The iPhone 5C was essentially a re-release of the iPhone 5, with little change in the - much more colourful - look now, providing iPhone buyers with the option of buying a cheaper and brand-new device. At the same time, the iOS 7 software was released for the first time, which offered the essential possibility to carry out many tasks at the same time, while the main feature of this version was the Control Centre that would be used for easier access to the device settings.
iPhone 5S (2013)
The iPhone 5S was the 2013 flagship model with a refined design and Touch ID capability to unlock the screen. Another pioneering feature was the 64bit processor processor, which the other manufacturers decided to use for their devices. The iOS 7 software also had optical gains, brighter icons and a higher-resolution screen.
iPhone 6 (2014)
iPhone 6 is the device with the most sales. In addition to a refreshed design, the iPhone 6 was released with a larger screen, both in size and resolution. One feature worth noting is the introduction of NFC technology - close-range communication for use with Apple Pay and other services, as well as a major camera upgrade that would provide the best quality of photos and videos.
iPhone 6 Plus (2014)
Apple for a long time resisted the industry trend for bigger screens on smartphones, but seeing the performance of its competitors, eventually succumbed to the iPhone 6 Plus. With a 5.5-inch display, it is the largest iPhone device and is approaching the iPad mini.
iPhone 6S (2015)
The iPhone 6S was an anticipated version for many, since Apple has added an "S" in the previous year's edition every two years, providing few upgrades while maintaining the same design and design. The iPhone 6S is almost identical to the iPhone 6 of 2014, to the point where it is difficult to distinguish it by holding it in hand. But it can be external, albeit internally but not a genre explaining Apple's decision to launch it with an aka, "All that has changed is everything."
iPhone SE (2016)
This device was surprising as the public expected a smaller cell phone with a lower price and not a device that looked like the iPhone 5 but would have much faster and more streamlined features. One of the ratings for the iPhone SE says, "you will not buy this device, but you will suggest someone else to buy it."
iPhone 7 (2016)
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were special devices. Although they contained a range of state-of-the-art technologies and attempted to overcome competition, the fact that they were essentially the same as the 6 Series phones, rather cut expectations. The fact that the iPhone 7 broke the tradition that Apple wanted to change the design of its devices every two years cannot be related to what it is expected to present in a few days.
iPhone 8 or iPhone X (2017)
New models are expected on September 12th. After the launch of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus it is almost certain that they will release the iPhone 7S and the iPhone 7S Plus. Or maybe not; The 10th anniversary of the first release of the phone multiplies the rumours and the expectations of the company's friends. Many anticipate that the company will present a triple of new phones, with the first two followed by a smooth "succession" series, even if instead of "S" they are called iPhone 8 and the third, the iPhone X is the anniversary.
